In Bad Hofgastein many cross-country trails are offered. The sports field trail, which is 2.5km long and of low difficulty, starts at the cross-country school/Achensteg. For the sporty runners it even has its own skating track. The Achen trail which is 4km long offers a beautiful range, from easy to moderate. Start right at the park and then along the Gastein Ache to Gadaunerer Au. Over Gadaunern and Heißingfelding and it leads directly back into the town centre. You have a direct connection to the golf course in Bad Gastein or Bad Bruck . The Angertal trail at 3.35km or 6.5km skating at 1200m to 1280m above sea level is manageablely moderate. In the Angertal ski resort you can find perfectly groomed trails along the creek to Anger Haidegg Estate, away over the Sameranger and Bürgerwald and straight to the top of the valley.
Totally new, the Spa Park Trail in Bad Hofgastein at 860m above sea level. The trail offers classic tracks and a separate track for skating. The 1.5km long course is covered with artificial snow for the whole of the winter and is also equipped with its own floodlights. Due to its proximity, located in the centre of a circular course, you can easily rate the difficulty level. Entry into the circular course is possible in several places, either directly behind the Alpine Spa Gastein or the Hotel Germania The special cross-country experience can be enjoyed daily until 22:00.
